DISC GOLF COURSE: Park & Rec 575-257-5030 It's free! From Sudderth Drive, take Carrizo Canyon Road 0.8 miles; Turn right on Grindstone Canyon Road 0.3 miles; Turn left on Resort Drive 0.3 miles to the entrance of Grindstone Disc Golf Course.
FUNTRACKERS: 575-257-3275 Carrizo Canyon at 700 block of Sudderth. Family entertainment complex. 3 Go-Kart Tracks, 18-hole Miniature Golf, Bumper Boats, Giant Maze, Climbing Wall, Game Room, and much more. Open daily all summer 10am to 10pm; weekends all year, weather permitting.
HIKING & CAMPING: The Lincoln National Forest offers a number of developed & dispersed campsites as well as hiking trails for all abilities. Stop by the Ranger Station on Mechem (Hwy 48) for more information on either. 575-257-4095
MONJEAU LOOKOUT is located up Ski Run Road. Turn right on Gilmore Canyon, about 1 ½ miles in. The Lookout is just 4 miles further.
PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL: 500 block of Sudderth, next to Schoolhouse Park. The pool is open 11:45am -4:45pm, Memorial Day through mid-August. Info: Parks & Rec, 575-257-5030
SEEPING SPRINGS TROUT LAKES: Hwy 70, 4 mi. east of the racetrack. Paddleboats, trout fishing - guaranteed catch - as well as all the needed equipment on-site! Licenses are not required. Paddleboat season is Memorial Day through Labor Day, fishing is available daily & year-round. Info: 575-378-4216
