The Iris Farm cottage, perfect for a couple, is a completely renovated antique adobe building, 343 square feet, with a modern and intricately tiled bathroom, a DirecTV television, a queen bed, a half kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and smokeless grill.  The cottage is decorated with southwest prints and paintings with a large porch overlooking both the garden and the valley.

The Hondo Iris farm is in the beautiful Hondo Valley; 24 miles from Ruidoso New Mexico, between Ruidoso and Roswell just off of Highway 70. The farm is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in New Mexico, with rows of irises, a botanical garden featuring southwest plants, a goldfish pond, a large fairy garden in the woods, and a folk art gallery, part of which is in a 160 year old adobe building. There is an acequia running through the property, fed by the Rio Ruidoso, a small river that keeps the valley lush and beautiful throughout the year.

This is a truely fabulous location to enjoy the beauty of the iris farm, the Hondo Valley, and the Rio Ruidoso River.  Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage, alcohol is prohibited on the garden grounds. We love pets but they cannot be accomodated n the cottage.
