The first-ever Ruidoso Wine Festival is scheduled for June 14 & 15 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino, and it promises to become a premier regional attraction. The wine festival not only features delicious New Mexico wines, live music, and art and crafts, but will also offer the cool mountain air of Ruidoso as a reprieve from the summer heat. The New Mexico Wine Grower's Association hosts the event and hopes to make the Ruidoso Wine Festival the attraction of the summer for Southern New Mexico and West Texas.
The inaugural event will feature many New Mexico wineries, with a full range of award-winning wines available for free tasting or for sale by the glass, bottle or case. The Festival will feature arts and crafts vendors from throughout the southwest displaying and offering fine paintings, handmade crafts and apparel. Live music reflects the diverse culture of the area, with something for everyone! |
