Joan Ernst as a child had psychic ability and was able to tune into people and their energies. When I was a teenager, I was able to go into meditations and be in other dimensions. Starting in 1954, I started intensive training in the spiritual/metaphysical field – including regressions.
At the age of 28, I had an out of body
experience, which changed my life when I came back. When I was in this spirit
dimension, I experienced the “Love and Truth” that is. In that dimension,
one cannot have Love without Truth or Truth without Love because that is “All
That Is.” I also could see how our thoughts, emotions, habit patterns, and
past lives keep us trapped and dying was not the answer. It was only a pause
until we incarnate again to pick up where we left off and either go around in
the same patterns with the same people or use the new life to come up out of the
embedded patterns and work toward “Truth and Love.” I also realized that it
is extremely necessary to go into our memory bank (our mind) and clean out our
dark energies from our past lives. When I came back, it was a shock to realize
that Earth is opposite to Love and Truth – and to survive, we mush change –
which we are doing today. So I was involved in past life regressions for about
20 years.
I started teaching Ballroom Dance at
Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Chicago, Illinois in 1953 and continue to teach
these dances as well as Country/Western Partner and Line Dances. There are
abilities and awareness that one can only get through dance. It is mediation in
action and is a way of helping to control your mind and gives one a real
awareness of your body – inside and out. We call it “Centering” which
means aligning Spirit, Mind, and Body in awareness to work together as One. To
see this, all one has to do is look at all the great dance performers who have
had and do have.
I enjoyed reading many metaphysical books,
including Edgar Cayces’ books, all the Seth books, and many more and I
continue reading many books today. Also studied Yoga with Swami Rama at the
Himalayan Institute in Illinois and Pennsylvania in 1970 and 1980.
I have been a priest in The Melchizedek
Order, Sanctuary of The Beloved since 1992 and took the Flower Of Life Seven Day
Workshop in Illinois.
After taking The Melchizedek Level One and
Level Two with Alton in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I decided to become a
facilitator and started teaching in October, 2000.
