Our Vision:
High Mesa Healing Center is a forty-acre sanctuary dedicated to Personal and Planetary Wholeness offering a place to relax, refresh, explore and renew physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual well-being. Alternative and complementary techniques are utilized including Healing Touch, Reiki, EMF, Toning, Crystal Therapy, Reconnective Healing, Flower Remedies, SRT, Intuitive Healing and others. Manifestation of our mission involves continuous educational and experiential seminars, workshops and retreats. The Center integrates Native American, Buddhist and other "East Meets West" philosophies and practices. We encourage the seeker to discover their own path of awareness and transformation resulting in a deeper understanding of their true self. This generates Love, Wisdom, Compassion and Forgiveness leading to Wholeness and Harmonious Living.

The High Mesa Healing Center is here for the purpose of providing a place of Love and Safety.

DIRECTIONS TO HIGH MESA HEALING CENTER; We are located between Ski Run Road (state hwy. 532) and TR's market on Hwy. 48. Go to Alto Village marked by a big adobe sign that says KOKOPELLI, Gated Community, and turn in. Follow High Mesa Drive past Alto Golf Course and Country Club (where the restaurant is located) and around until you come to a yield/dead end, with Kokopelli Restaurant and Golf Club on the right; turn right. This is High Mesa Drive. Go past Kokopelli Restaurant and to the left of the pods see a street sign, Mader Lane. Turn left and follow the road until you reach High Mesa Healing Center.

The Center, located on over forty acres of tall, cool pines in southern New Mexico, was dedicated into service on May 17, 1992. The Center represents a life-long dream of Barbara Mader, who relocated here sixteen years ago from a metropolitan center on the Mexican border where she served as the chief nurse in the Public Health Department. In this new setting, she began another phase of her healing practice, one that has proven to be personally and professionally satisfying and fulfilling. In the peace and quiet of the slopes of Sierra Blanca, she has been able to create a thriving practice doing the energy work she loves. High Mesa Healing Center integrates metaphysical principles with Holistic Healing Techniques providing a prism of possibilities for the seeker of wisdom, truth, health and overall well-being. Holistic Medicine is the art and science of healing that addresses the whole person; body, mind and spirit. Techniques integrate conventional and alternative therapies to prevent and treat disease promoting optimal health. It includes analysis of physical, nutritional, environmental, emotional, spiritual and lifestyle elements to achieve an unlimited and unimpeded free flow of life force energy through body, mind and spirit. Having received certification and attunements for Healing Touch and Reiki, Barbara has further learned to use Aromatherapy, Flower Remedies, Electromagnetic Balancing, Magnified Healing and crystals to better serve her clients. She has recently learned SRT or Spiritual Response Therapy, along with Shamanic Healing and Journeying. In the past few years, Barbara has seen her dream expand to include resourcing and networking the many fine practitioners and services in the greater Ruidoso area and promoting this area as a place to come for your healing and well-being.

FRIENDS OF HIGH MESA HEALING CENTER RESOURCE GUIDE

The Healing Center has published a newsletter, a directory of services and sponsored Health Expo 2000 and the Wholistc Renaissance Fair 2002. Information is given freely for an educated consumer will access and use health care resources wisely and appropriately. The long term goal of High Mesa is to co-create an integrated health care system, a blending of mainstream and complementary health care. One of the reasons that High Mesa Healing Center has been successful and effective is due to the outreach to other centers in the area, across the country, and even internationally. Barbara Mader radiates warmth and vitality. Her magnetic personality reflects her knowledge and wisdom. She loves being of service to friends and the community and to the spirtual beings we all are.

This is the fundamental philosophy that underlies all of High Mesa's efforts. Our search for our true selves is a lifelong journey and Barbara can be very instrumental in illuminating our paths. Her easy, peaceful and joyful nature invites her clients to discover their own confident happiness.
