2008 Chamber Music Festival Schedule  --  August 1, 2 & 3

Friday, August 1, 8:00 p.m.  --  Alex Kobrin, Pianist  --  Alex Kobrin won the Gold
Medal Award in the most recent Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.  For a more complete biography see the "Chamber Music Artist Information" web page.

Saturday, August 2, 8:00 p.m.  --  Miro Quartet  --   This outstanding string quartet has won international acclaim since their founding in 1995.  They are the String Quartet in Residence at the University of Texas at Austin.  For a more complete biography see the "Chamber Music Artist Information" web page.

Sunday, August 3, 2:00 p.m.  --  Amelia Piano Trio  -- 
The Amelia Piano Trio was National Public Radio's "Young Ensemble in Residence" in 2003 In 2006 they performed the complete Beethoven Trios in a live broadcast over Chicago's WFMT.  For a more complete biography see the "Chamber Music Artist Information" web page.

Please don't miss the Festival's newest offering -- a "Youth & Family" Concert, Saturday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m.  The Amelia Piano Trio (well-known for their work with students), will perform "A Hair Affair"  --  a humorous presentation that introduces famous classical composers and their music.
