Relax, browse the booths, and even take time to visit with the artists! Up to fifty artists will be participating in the third annual Treasures of Sierra Blanca Art Show, sponsored by the Ruidoso Regional Council for the Arts. From paintings to sculpture, pottery to jewelry—you’ll enjoy a wide variety of artwork by Lincoln, Otero, and Chavez county artists. If you’re looking for a relaxed yet elegant opportunity to make your next art investment, this is it! Come be part of an emerging tradition!
Friday night’s “Vinarelli” fundraiser will add even more to the elegance and enjoyment of this year’s show. Attendees will enjoy exquisite wine, hors d’oeuvres, and Tomas Vigil’s classical music as they experience an Italian art tradition. A selection of local, well known watercolor artists will be painting, using wine instead of water to mix with the pigments. The paintings they create will be auctioned at the end of the evening to benefit the regional arts. Attendees are welcome to just watch the artists work or pick up a paintbrush themselves!
